Average Joe Technology OÜ
Terms of use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Average Joe Technology OÜ (registry code 17309776, VAT EE102895812), Narva mnt 5, 10117 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia. qrpl is a product of Average Joe Technology. Creating an account accepts these terms and the Privacy policy, including the processor terms in that policy.
1. The service
qrpl is a link library. An organisation can create static codes and dynamic links, export a QR Code mark, and keep a dynamic link redirecting when the destination changes. Starter links are served on qrpl.io. A paid agreement may add custom domains and a logo on exports. We do not sell advertising on a redirect.
2. Accounts
You must be 16 or older. You name the organisation when you sign up, and an owner can rename it later. An operator may create an organisation and invite its owner; that signup does not create a second organisation. The person who creates the organisation warrants they can bind it. Owners and members use the service under these terms. Keep the password secret. You are responsible for the destinations, names, and logos you store.
Production signup may be limited to invited email addresses. An invitation is for one person and one organisation. We may refuse a signup that the invitation rules do not allow.
3. Plans and payment
New organisations start on Starter at €0. Starter includes 1 account, 3 active dynamic links, unlimited static codes, 0 custom domains, logo on exports off, 30 days of scan retention, and qrpl.io only.
There is no public price list. A paid organisation exists only under an agreement we make with you: the caps are agreed, and payment is arranged offline. Write to [email protected] or use the contact form. VAT may be added where it is due.
Cancel a paid agreement by writing to that address. Access continues until the end of the period we agreed. We do not prorate a fee except under section 4 or where the law requires it.
4. Withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from a paid period within 14 days of that period starting. Write to [email protected]. We refund the charge for that period. Starter has no fee to refund.
The right ends if, during that paid period, a dynamic link of the organisation is served (a browser is redirected). Redirects already made stay made. This is the point at which you asked the service to start and it has been performed.
5. Acceptable use
Follow applicable law. Do not point a link at unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content. Do not phish, do not send people to malware, and do not use qrpl to collect data from children under 16. Do not probe or attack the service, and do not take another organisation’s links or data. We may suspend or close an organisation that breaks this section. A suspension for breach is not a withdrawal under section 4.
6. Availability
We run the service with reasonable care. We do not warrant that a redirect, a download, or a custom domain will be available without interruption. A printed code keeps working only while the link is still served.
7. Data protection
For the account, the contact form, and abuse reports, we are the controller. For the destinations, logos, and scan statistics an organisation asks us to store, that organisation is the controller and we are the processor. The processor terms are in the Privacy policy. Creating an account enters them.
8. Intellectual property
We own the qrpl service and the name qrpl. You own the destinations, names, and logos you upload. You grant us a licence to host that material and to draw an uploaded logo on an export you request.
QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. The notice in the footer is theirs. The pattern is specified by ISO/IEC 18004. Nothing here makes you a licensee of that trademark.
9. Liability
Our aggregate liability arising from these terms or the service, for one organisation, is limited to the fees that organisation paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €0 if it paid none. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or a destination that the organisation chose.
Nothing here limits liability that Estonian or EU law does not allow us to limit, including mandatory consumer rights, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Closing and deletion
An owner can close the organisation in the product. Dynamic links keep redirecting for 30 days and then stop. Closing does not delete the link rows. An owner can cancel that close before the 30 days end, and the links keep working. An owner can also delete the organisation immediately. That removes its links and the organisation, and redirects stop at once. If it was your only organisation, we create a new starter organisation on the same account. An owner can delete a single link immediately. Either side may stop the service. To ask for erasure of personal data, write to [email protected]. Backups and records we must keep for tax law are described in the Privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may change these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date. Continued use after that date is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using qrpl and close the organisation.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. The courts of Harju County Court, Estonia have jurisdiction. That does not limit a consumer’s right to sue in the courts of their country of residence where the law requires it.
